Basic Care Instructions
Washing
Linen is surprisingly easy to care for and becomes softer and more luminous with each wash. For the best results:
- Machine wash in lukewarm water (40°C/104°F) on a gentle cycle
- Use mild detergent specifically designed for delicate or natural fabrics
- Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can damage the fibers
- Wash similar colors together, especially for the first few washes
- For stubborn stains, pre-treat with a mixture of baking soda and water
Drying
Proper drying helps maintain the quality and extends the life of your linen:
- Line drying is ideal and most environmentally friendly
- If using a dryer, choose a low temperature setting
- Remove while still slightly damp to reduce wrinkles
- Avoid overdrying, which can make the fabric stiff
- Never wring out linen as it can damage the fibers
Ironing (Optional)
One of linen's most charming qualities is its natural texture with a slightly wrinkled appearance. However, if you prefer a smoother look:
- Iron while the fabric is still slightly damp
- Use a medium-hot iron (linen setting)
- Iron on the wrong side of the fabric when possible

Storage

- Store in a cool, dry place with good air circulation
- Avoid plastic containers which can trap moisture
